Clifford Allen Berryhill

1953-2006

Clifford Allen Berryhill, 52, of Smithdale, died April 26, 2006, at his residence.

Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Mount Gilead Primitive Baptist Church, then 9 a.m. Saturday until services at the church at 11 a.m. Elder Luke Addison and Licentiate Robert Byrd will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery in Smithdale under the direction of Hartman Funeral Home of McComb.

Mr. Berryhill was born June 6, 1953, in McComb. He was the son of Bonnie Cowart Berryhill of Smithdale and the late Robert Douglas Berryhill Sr.

He was a loader operator for 10 years with Byrd Lumber and was a member of Mount Gilead Primitive Baptist Church. He was a member of Morgan Fork Coon Hunters Association and was a longtime supporter of the Franklin County 4-H program.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Sandra Evans Berryhill of Smithdale; his mother, Bonnie; three sons, Clinton Lane Berryhill, Charles Cody Berryhill and David Lawrence Berryhill, all of Smithdale; five daughters, Brandy Lynn Hill of Brandon, and Sandra Lianne Berryhill, Lyndle Susanne “Lyndy” Berryhill , Patti Elisabeth “Betsy” Berryhill and Vana Kathryn Berryhill, all of Smithdale; three brothers, Robert D. “Bobby” Berryhill Jr., George F. “Bubba” Berryhill and William K. “Keith” Berryhill, all of Smithdale; two grandsons, Julian Andrew Hill and Jordan Addison Hill; his mother-in-law, Edna J. Evans of Brookhaven; and a special nephew and his wife, Will and Heather M. Berryhill of Smithdale.
