Lola Mildred VanNorman

Lola Mildred “Millie” VanNorman, 50, of McComb, died March 10, 2006, at her residence.

Visitation was Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Hartman Funeral Home of McComb and continues at noon today until services at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Larry Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.

Mrs. VanNorman was born Oct. 18, 1955, in New Roads, La., to George Edwards Sr. and Lola H. Edwards.

She was a housewife and member of New Bethel Church.

Mrs. VanNorman is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Calvin Edwards.

Survivors include her husband, William VanNorman of McComb; a son, William VanNorman Jr. and wife Valorie of Jayess; a daughter, Stacy Bonnette and special friend Troy of Plaquemine, La.; a brother, George Edwards Jr. and wife Robin of Plaquemine, La.; a sister, Judy Edwards and special friend Mary Sue of New Roads, La.; four grandchildren, Mackie Bonnette III, Lené Bonnette, Steven VanNorman and Megan VanNorman.

Pallbearers will be George Edwards Jr., Allen Ryals, Randell Ryals, Darrel Ryals, Chester Reeves and William VanNorman Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are George Edwards III, Mackie Bonnette III and Bryan Ryals.
